Classification of pickups

1. Active pickup
Active pickups vs passive pickups
Advantages: high power, low noise, good sustain and good gain.
Disadvantages: It does not reflect the timbre characteristics of the wood of the piano body well, and there is no very characteristic PASSIVE timbre of passive pickups.
2. Passive pickups
Advantages: It faithfully reflects the tone of wood.
Disadvantages: Noisy, poor gain, low power.
